Certified Home Inspections by Nordic Inspections

At Nordic Home Inspection, our goal is to provide you with the most comprehensive and informative home inspection possible whether you are in Fargo, ND; Grand Forks, ND; Wahpeton, ND; Moorhead, MN; Detroit Lakes, MN; or Dilworth, MN. We’ll not only identify major and minor deficiencies, but we’ll also educate you on how to maintain and repair your home and offer advice on remodeling plans. We’ll even give you a ballpark estimate for the most important repairs.

Our home inspectors are not afraid to go up to the attic or down into the crawlspace, no matter how small the hatch. These areas are often missed by home inspectors, and the areas you most often can find hidden deficiencies in your home.

The length of a home inspection varies depending on the age and size of the home, but it typically takes between 1.5-2.5 hours. Your home inspector will be on site to greet you when you arrive, and we encourage you to attend the inspection so that you can ask questions and learn more about the home you are buying, selling, or building.

Our home inspectors have over 30 years of combined experience in construction, home inspection, and mold assessment, so you can be confident that you’re getting the best possible service. We’re committed to helping you make informed decisions about your home, and we’re here to answer any questions you have along the way.

A DETAILED REPORT from the foundation to the roof

On the day of your home inspection, you will receive a computer generated report with pictures and explanations detailing what was discovered along with what can or should be done to address any issues. Whether it’s a problem with the foundation or a problem with the roof, it is important to us to address minor issues we might find during the home inspection, so you could take care of it before it becomes a major problem and in turn, becomes more costly to repair. Nordic Home Inspection has a wide network in the different construction trades, and will be more than happy to send you in the right directions for repairs, improvements or renovations.

A home inspection is a crucial assessment of a home’s key systems and components, conducted by a qualified inspector. Getting a home inspection before purchasing a property is essential because it helps you avoid unexpected major issues that could become costly repairs later. Additionally, it provides peace of mind that you’re investing in a well-maintained home.

During the inspection, the home inspector assesses various aspects, including the roof, foundation, HVAC system, plumbing, electrical system, structural integrity, appliances, and more.
